Just finished her bachelor in Communication and Media (IBCoM), Lara is our current head of events. She is a long time enthusiast of tech and Turing, being also part of our events committee previously. Lara will be organizing our events and will be coming up with fun, new events for our community.

Events Committee
The Events committee is responsible for creating and executing all events outside of our coding & programming scope. These range from stand-alone workshops, lectures, competitions in the field of technology and innovation. Examples of past and current projects are hackathons, web design workshops, tech career fairs, trading blockchain & bitcoin workshops, digital marketing & behavioural technology lecture and ethics of technology & cyber security provided by professors in their field. Our aim is to make technological innovations accessible for students and want to help expand the knowledge of our students in various branches of technology in events that are enjoyable and fun.

Marketing Committee
The Marketing committee ensures that online and offline promotion of educational and social events are done in an effective and innovative manner. Being a part of this committee entails designing promitional material to gain traction, expand reach and grow the TSR community. Creative ideas to market events are constantly explored and experimented with. The running of social media platforms to engage the audience and provide essential information is also a key element in being a part of this committee.

Education Committee
The Education committee organizes all events enclosing education - namely hosting web events, a tech podcast, online coding courses, Turing Tech Tuesdays and connecting with other tech enthusiasts to collaborate with. The main focus is on the effective transfer of knowledge by ensuring our events are as great as they can be!
