Teacher and Teaching Asssistent : Introduction to R

Period: October 2021

Duration: 4 weeks

Hours per week: 4 hours (Teacher), 3 hours (Teaching Assistent)

Physical classes

As our world becomes more data heavy by the minute, it is important to know how to handle and analyse all this data. This is where the R language comes most usefull. Erasmus university implements data analysis in the form of R programming language in most of its studies. This is why Turing Students Rotterdam decided to produce this introductory course in the programming language R. As a teacher and teaching assistent all material is prepared by the the Education department beforehand, such that you can solely focus on teaching the course to your fellow students. This year Turing Students Rotterdam will be organizing one of our most popular courses again, but this time in collaboration with Erasmus School of Economics! Python is one of the most, if not the most, commonly used language for modelling, computing, interfaces. This is why Turing Students Rotterdam organizes this introductory course as it is not available at any study at Erasmus, while its implementations can be of various use. As this courses’ demand was high we implented new and exciting cases this year. As a teacher and teaching assistent all material is prepared by the the Education department beforehand, such that you can solely focus on teaching the course to your fellow students.
